Pastor Christopher F. Valentine
Pastor Christopher Valentine is the son of Elder Fletcher, Sr. and Evelyn Valentine. At an early age, Pastor Valentine heard the voice of the Lord telling him to preach the gospel.
He served faithfully in his home church under Suffragan Bishop W.A. Watkins as musician for many years until he heard the voice of the Lord telling him to go out into the vineyard. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Valentine left his home church and began fellowship at Raleigh Apostolic Faith Temple in Raleigh, NC. After a brief stay there, Pastor Valentine began teaching bible study at his wife’s hair salon in Roxboro, NC. The Lord began to bless souls and later service was held at the Innkeeper in Roxboro, NC. The services were great success and souls were added. Pastor Valentine began to look for a building in August 2008, the Lord led Pastor Valentine to 1282 Pointer Street and instructed him on what to do. With a lot of hardwork and prayer, the Lord has brought us a long way. The first service at this location January 4, 2009 and the continue to add souls and proper the ministry.
Pastor Valentine is married to the First Lady, Tara Valentine. They have been married for 17 years and have 7 children, one boy and six girls. Pastor Valentine is studying to receive his Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Pastoral Ministry from the Aenon Bible College. Pastor Valentine comes from a long line of Apostolic Preachers, his grandfather, Elder Nelson Valentine, Sr., father Elder Fletcher Valentine, Sr., aunts, Pastor Cora Motely and Pastor Lucille Hunt and many others.
He has been greatly influences by his former pastors, Suffragan Bishop W.A. Watkins and Elder Frank Beard. Some other important people who helped shaped his life also were Apostle L.G. Campbell, Sr., Suffragan Bishop Delmar Jackson, District Elder Donald Johnson, Bishop John C. Williams among others.
